Pros
Magnifying glass is surprisingly nice for the list price. Worth every penny. I like that the rockdamic professional magnifying glass is versatile.
The lens seems thick and optically accurate and clear. The optics are clear and the included light is bright and covers a large area. The led is plenty bright, and the lens is reasonably big.
Rockdamic magnifying glass is an excellent choice for a convenient magnifying glass. Light is nice feature.
The magnification on this is exactly what i wanted. The magnification is great and the addition of the light is wonderful. The size of the lens is good for examination of anything short of large artwork.
Cons
The lens scratches easy and is hard to clean. Not easy for an old person.

Very easy to read with the area lit up
Magnification the light and the weight are all excellent
However i found the leds to be much less useful in with the 45x glass
I have not yet had a need for the smaller lens with the x45 magnification on it
Shipping
My only other concern is a small worry about how fast the batteries my run down
Packaging/appearance
It would work extremely well to see a splinter on the 45x
The 3x is the larger glass and the 45x the smaller one in the handle

Im using rechargable aaa and they worked fine but i dont have too many that small

He has macular degeneration so has trouble seeing things up close

But most of the time a magnifier is only needed for brief periods in many cases to begin with so that may not matter

But any lighted magnifier that is handheld will have some power source so it wont be as light as a nonlighted one
