Bought this by my drum teacher's recommendation. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a throne. This drum throne is worth the extra expense.

When adding the backrest, it upgrades the chair significantly! Extremely comfortable and well-made seat. Real good stool.

Cons

The swivel lock doesn't stay locked, the seat itself is uncomfortable and tilts your pelvis in a bad way. Emailed their “customer service” numerous times with no response.
