After a lot of reading and research i decided to purchase a record weight i know some people swear by them and some think they are smoke and mirrors anyway i figured for the money why not give it a try at worst it looks really cool so im now using this on my project table there is no issues with the performance of the table everything works as it should no clearance issues with a dust cover as i dont have one

As to the overall sound it is hard to tell i am currently listing to dave brubecks take five the drum
