I'm 7 months pregnant and put this thing together myself in about an hour. Time consuming assembly but not difficult. End result is very sturdy.

Packaging/appearance
Pros•good packaging all pieces were well protected no scratches no missing parts•relatively easy to assemble
Thankfully everything arrived in perfect condition and was also beautifully packaged
The only ding i have to give it was when i was reading the paper instructions that came in the box i was missing three pages of steps
The only issue was it arrived with a big scuff on the top corner but i just put a picture frame in front of it to hide it

Cons•no extra hardware so if you strip a screw or break the little turnlock mechanisms game over•a few of the steps on the instructions were misleading based on the photo

It is very tempting especially at step 8 but its cheap wood and only a half inch thick so you are bound to split it with an electric screwdriver•shelf height is not adjustable
