Pros

No chocolate so melting in the heat is not a problem. Great to throw in the back of a cycling jersey because they are not covered in chocolate. It is a little pricey but well worth it.

Almonds, honey, and whey protein. Probably the best tasting and texture.

Needed a good midday snack for lunch box. Tided me over until mid afternoon. No soy, 3 real ingredients.

Cons

They are now more difficult to chew and *. The texture is bland. The flavor is weird.

This is the best tasting probably because of its simple ingredients unlike most other bars which tase like medicine

The physical size of each bar the three ingredients and the total calories have not changed

Im guessing it was either a cost cutting measure or an attempt to improve the palatability of the bars

Arrived on time and package expiration is september 2024

I ordered them in jan 2024 and the box i got has a freshness date in sept 2024 so no problems there

Packaging/appearance

They have a good taste not too sweet like a lot of bars and packed with 20 grams of protein with just 3 plain and simple ingredients

The packaging isnt the only thing thats changed

Nice packaging and initial reaction to texture might be off but immediately after very edible and tasty

Competitiveness

I will continue to buy rise bars mostly because i cannot find a better alternative
