They are too large wide on the usbc side to connect to the phone with its otterbox cover as there is not enough penetration of the plug

Does what its supposed to i use it for a nintendo switch because i put a case on my switch tablet and it no longer fits in the dock so i extended the dock connection with this now i can play 1080p with it not scratching my screen as well

I had to slice off a few slivers to allow for that male end to plug into my phone without having to take the case off

This is a great usb c extension carries the entire signal of whatever you hook to it not just for charging

The s8 comes with a usb dongle but with my chosen phone case the dongle will not plug in all the way
