Pros
Device that plugs into my odb port is right in my footwell. Any scanner will now be plugged into the female end of the extension cable. Worked very well, i accidentally broke the mounting tab of the original obd-ii connector in my car.
Cons
Ultra low profile is wrong connector quite thick. Did not work for me. No returns for product.

The plastic obd port on our vehicle had damage to one of the two plastic clips that snap the port into a metal bracket

You cannot see it unless you look directly upward from the floor or in a mirror
