Pros

Skates are good for beginners in derby. Being a derby referee i don't put as much wear on them as a derby skater would. Bought for my grandson for christmas.

As a rollerderby newbie i really like them. Love the boot. The nylon plates hold up really well and are pretty light.

These are perfect skates for fresh meat or a skater on a budget. Best part about riedell skates is the ability to customize! These are for outdoors but they are not as easy as i thought.

Cons

The fabrication isn’t as good as the description on the skates! Also, very cheap plastic bottom. This is a major bummer because i have my one year derby-versarry tomorrow and a bout in 2 days and now i have no skates.

Competitiveness

I will also add that i put a grippier pair of wheels on these skates which made a huge difference

I go to an indoor skating rink every weekend and these will definitely last quite a while for speed skating

A size up wouldve been too big
