Pros

It eats up paper in your septic system without any harsh chemicals. It has a different smell however, maybe a slight mint smell as compared to the slight citrus smell from the bio-charge. Better than powder.

Easy to use monthly septic tank care. When we occasionally have our septic pumped, the guy always says whatever you are doing, keep doing it!

Cons

Everything in the mailbox was soaked. The powder is messy as it 'poofs up' powder dust when you pour it in the toilet.
