Rick steves books are my favorite travel guides. Have never been steered wrong by arick steves guidebook.
Great way to find all the little gems when traveling. Thank you, rick, for making travel so accessible for so many.
Cons
Steves has a grudge against valencia and by not acknowledging it's existence he is getting back at it. Do yourself a favor and get fodor's or a lonely planet guide to spain. This guide is woefully incomplete.

Handy and tore it apart as suggested while in spain

Unfortunately i found the info pretty light on southern spain and the costa del sol so i had to get the lonely planet book on andalucia to really cover all of spain
