Pros
Each panel has two wood hinge pieces that can be used as legs to keep it balanced up. The panels are of sturdy wood. Gate opens in both directions which is fabulous.
It is absolutely wonderful. I am grateful it is still available. Overall happy with quality.

Appearance is very fashionable; much better than plastic options. The gate is great for going in and out. And it is rather attractive, as well. It's pricey but pretty unique.
Cons
Almost $200 product features a *plastic latch* - that's right a 1/8 plastic pin is all that keeps the gate shut against puppies pushing. All she would do is nudge it with her nose.
Customer service is lack luster. Dissapointing given this is not an inexpensive item. I guarantee anyone that comes over wont buy one.
The hinges are so flimsy. Each hinge is actually 2 hinges, which is the cause for it being so unstable. I had to come up with my own solution to (try to) stabilize the hinges.

Came late due to snow other than that very very happy with it
My husband did not want to repack and ship back so we repaired the panels as best we could
Packaging/appearance
This gate went together so beautifully and it was packaged so nothing was damaged or scratched
I ordered the 34just like new34 option box will be damage and the gate was broken

Also the end panels do not attach to a wall so be aware that your dog might pry open the space between the last panel and the wall to get through

Just this morning our puppy 60 lbs jumped with her front paws on top of the gate as she sometimes does

This is good sturdy wood so perhaps the puppy just hit the gate with too much force at once at a weak spot where pieces are jointed but we were surprised the gate broke like this

Again were happy we can remove the broken panel and relink the remaining panels but this was definitely unexpected for such an expensive product

We purchased two sets as we had two older dogs and a new puppy
