Pros

The yellow is a true, primary yellow and very brightly colored. It really pops next to our mint green island color. The blue is a little brighter than i expected, but it still goes with my decor.

The stool seems sturdy enough. Nice big seat, swivels smoothly. Very sturdy, comfortable, etc.

Easy to put together, very sturdy. Easy to assemble with hand tools. Only complaint is that the parts are not precisely machined. Assembly is an easy, one-person job if you have a power screwdriver.

Cons

Do not be deceived by the picture, the cushion on the stool is maybe 3/4-1 thick. The padding is only 1 thin. All of the material under the red cover is solid wood, not padding.

This makes it very uncomfortable for playing guitar for any length of time.

Instructions are simple to follow but they defintely don't make the thing any less wobbly. The metal slugs from the punched holes are caught inside the metal tube, and can't get the out.
