The violin seems well built, the satiny finish is beautiful and i love that you get the aubert bridge with the g1. It has a wonderful tone and sounds powerful without being brash. The flaming on the back almost looks like tiger's-eye.

It came completely set up and tuned as promised and still have not had to tune it. The pegs stay well in place. The strings are sufficiently low on the fingerboard so that you don't have to press hard on them.

The tuner is actually a chromatic and will work for a variety of instruments. The sound quality and craftsmanship far exceed the other instrument that he played. The instrument produces great sound and makes this novice sound better than she is!

More than enough violin for a beginner. The included booklet is very helpful in getting started for someone who is completely new to music as an adult learner.
