Personally i cut the ribbon in equal parts and placed it from top to bottom in different sections so it looks like it was laced through the tree

When the lights are one the ribbons glitter catches the light

Pretty ribbon it is more cream than white and the wire is a bit flimsy if trying to make a larger bow
