Our new house has cheap doors and he has ripped two off of the hinges so back to the drawing board

Be sure to bring a postit and write on the door that there is a hinge guard or else you may have the issue where the hinge pulls off the frame

I am not sure what is going on with construction these days for so many doors to be torn from their hinges but it seems more of a door issue than this products issue

I personally never had any door damaged and yes we did have the doors be swung to shut while they were in place

Soooo nice to just rotate the stopper between open and close leaving the guard in place
