The fan was definitely a bit too fast and the plan was always to hang the mobile above the crib so i installed a screwin hook and went on the search for something to turn the mobile

Im really happy to report the this motor turns the paper mobile at 45 rpm rotations per minute using a c battery and it runs for quite awhile if we ever forget to turn it off by mistake
