When i had initially placed it i had removed the rug that’s beneath it now but found it very slippery

It is woven more like a thick blanket than a rug in that regard

Something to take into consideration is that this rug doesnt have a slipproof backing in fact it has no backing at all

The edges have curled nor have any of the threads come loose or bunched up withstanding heavy foot traffic
