Pros
We find the stainless steel kettle with copper bottom to have a heating advantage over kettles that are a made of aluminum or all stainless steel. Copper is the best heat conductor of the three metals.
Best whistling tea kettle because of the ergonomic design and reliable whistle. The appearance is only marginally changed while maintaining functionality. Parts are still available for older models.
Cons
The front of the spout cover melted from the steam coming from the boiling water. Looks the same, but doesn't whistle much when water boils. The only way it holds over 2 quarts is by filling it up into the neck of the kettle.
The metal is thin and the spout opening mechanism reminds me of a science project (pull this ring to activate this lever which engages the spring to lift the lid) the handle gets so hot you can't pick it up without a potholder. Spout trigger mechanism... Read More

This tea kettle is not as wellmade as revere ware tea kettles from 30 years ago but its definitely good buy im happy with it it whistles and doesnt sputter

I purchased this as a replacement to a very similar revere tea kettle i have owned for close to 25 years despite reading the comments that said the made in china version wasnt as good
