Pros & Cons
Pros
No odor, no discoloration, and no leaking from bottom edge. Easy to keep clean and shiny too. The pot is still in great shape after 25 or more years of use.
It's not the prettiest kettle but it is functional and reliable. For instant oatmeal, cocoa, tea, etc.
Holds 3 and 1/2 quarts, has copper bottom, boils quickly and then whistles to let you know it is ready.
Cons
Revere ware is not what it used to be and i will never buy it again. When you depress the button just so, the spout stays open.
This thing is a disappointing hunk of junk. Claiming a 1-year warranty is of little use when the teakettle was delivered with zero information on how to register a warranty or how to make a warranty claim!
This model has a differently designed handle/spout/flip up whistle cap. This inferior chinese version has an softer, weaker whistle.
