Pros & Cons

Pros

Most parts well molded with minimal flash, instructions are easy to use. Black thread for rigging allows a final touch. Railings are solid plastic.

Model of the famous ill-fated battleship uss arizona. Part of her charm stems from arizona's dreadnought origin. Main thing about modeling is to have fun, and relieve stress.

The kit also comes with 2 bi-plane scout aircraft. A terrific kit for less than $18. Do yourself a favour and get the photo etch kit that goes with this.

Built it with a 10 yr old - we had a lot of fun, it's not too difficult. Our grandson loves history and wanted to build this battleship. It's fun to build - only takes a few days to paint and complete (as is), and it still looks pretty darn cool.

Comes with its own stands. Great build for the price. It's a gift. It’s a great lesson in history.

Cons

The ship looks almost cartoonish. The misalignment of mold halves leaves parts that require extensive trimming to make presentable. The instuctions are not very instructional.
