Use it with or without the filter. It's a keeper! The 2-layer design with the replaceable filter is a pretty nice design. The quality is good too, and there is a nice supply of disposable filter inserts included.
Cons
Couldnt put straps through sleeve for adjustment. Other masks these were already on when received. Can't put strap through sleeve to adjust the mask. Can only put * to the back of the head.

I used a tiny screwdriver to push the strap partially through and then grabbed it on the other side with needle nose pliers

If you are a larger person or just have a large brain therefore a big head lol and are tired of masks that are too tightly stretched across your face these masks are for you

My husband hates the masks i have for the smaller aka regularsized people in our home he has a longer nose and they just fit him too tightly

Despite our regular masks being too tight on him his face isnt really all that wide or large it is mainly his longer nose that makes regular masks uncomfortable

Without the ear toggles these masks are too big for him but like i mentioned it is mainly his longer nose that makes other masks too small it is not that he has a wide face

Just know that the disposable filters drop in across the top

I guess another option is to use them without the filter as there are two layers of fabric so they may work for light duty without the filter although the fabric is somewhat thin
