Pros
On the retron 77, the colors are brighter and the graphics are much crisper. It makes things much clearer and crisp.
Retron 77 allows you to play atari 2600 games in higher resolution and through an hdmi cord. Uses the cartridges and downloadable roms. Not as good as the classic nes, but as best as atari 2600 is going to get.
The joystick is sturdy & accurate and has a nice long cord. Controllers are responsive and the paddle is pretty decent. It's not as tight as the original joystick, but it's still great.
Cons
Flashback' rarely works, rarely loads up a game and there is a massive input lag. Do not buy. Cons:- rom dumping emulator.

I think the best choice would be to spend a little more and purchase a retropie which emulates every game system all in one unit
I purchased the black retron 77 with a single classic joystick and one stickpaddle controller

Out of the box it worked fine and has several lame homebrew games installed on the micro sd card
