Pros
The height is very nice and it's esthetically very nice. Kudos to my hubby and the manufacturer. It's very pretty compared to metal/plastic gates.
This gate is awesome! Wonderful purchase. This is perfect for us though!
Cons
They are plastic and flimsy. The locking feature doesn't work, the retraction is very loose. The screws are cheap and strip quite easily, get your own wood screws or drywall screws.
The guides are totally wrong! Familiarize yourself with the instructions before begining, but don't follow the order. Not for babies at all. Amazon customer service is also unable or unwilling to help.

They are paper not cardboard and will not remain perpendicular while you mark

Also where it lists type of material they can be installed on check mark for yes x for no there is a big x by wallboard however they provide wallboard anchors
