Pros

One of the first things you'll want to print is a filament guide and spool holder. If you're new to 3d printing, this is the printer for you.

The printer comes fully disassembled in acrylic laser/waterjetted parts. Good steppers, an ar arduino mega and a ramps board, and they even give you a spare stepper driver board if you need another one.

Review of the reprap guru pursa i3 v1 printer. Tl;dr, here's a shopping list if you get this printer. Abs is fun, and now want to try pla.

The instructions include high-res pictures and detailed explanations. Almost everything needed is in the manual in the google drive. It's nice that they have both code and connectors for max pins and min pins, but the directions should be consistent w...  Read More

The z axis uses threaded rods on nuts, and the x and y axis use belt drives on linear bearings. The stop sensor for the x axis is mounted to one of the slide rods, but this rod has a huge amount of side to side play, so i can see how it could move dur...  Read More

Works well with pla the hotbed takes awhile to heat up and for me does not get hot enough to print pla without the wireless printing software i am using timing out and stopping

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The acrylic supporting the hotbed warps some causing it to be hard to keep level

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Once it is leveled it prints well

I wanted to buy a 3d printer ever since i tried it for the first time in highschool

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Great product finished assembly and config earlier today and just finished first prints

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

First off as others have noted if you want to merely unbox it and hop into printing this is not for you

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I honestly did not expect that the print quality could be this good from a machine that is half the cost of most others
