Pros

The water is alway clean. Keeps my pets waterer clean, resists algae build up. It also has 10 cartridges instead of others selling 6.

It really is the closest to buying petmate products at a fraction of their cost. They work just as well as the brand name. They are just a s good as the name brand filters and much less expensive.

Cons

Save yourself the frustration, don't buy these. Honestly these filters are not the best. Would not buy again, would not recommend.

I'm disappointed as we didn't have a problem with changing the filter in the past. I have no clue what changed. The genuine cat mate filter does not.

Stay away from this vender, you make your cat/dog very sick. The white filter cover material is flimsy and comes off. The water in the bowl foams near the filter as though there is some chemical leaching from the filter.

All 3 have charcoal beads that have leaked out of the filter and into the fountain and turned the water a yellowish-brown color. Amazon suggests you buy these filters with the fountain but the filters are about 1/4 or so bigger then the slot to put th... Read More
