Pros

This one is much firmer and responsive to adjustment. Works as replacement for homall gaming office chair, gives greater lift then original. It is actually better than the oem one as this one has more range.

I have 2 'leather' office chairs that needed new cylinders. Now my chair operates like new! I like the fact that it's all black, even the inner shaft.

Cons

When you sit on it, it depresses even though the lever is not pulled. The height adjustment assembly on my chair is incompatible with this cylinder. This is a very fragile cylinder considering i am only 200lbs.
