Pros
The scale is accurate, no batteries are needed and the info flows to my fitbit app. You do need the app to see data like muscle mass or visceral fat. It includes its own rechargeable battery.
This scale feels like it is high quality and very durable. It automatically syncs up to my phone anytime i step on the scale. The app has a great ux and was easy to pair and set up.
It already has an impressive standby time. Charge lasts a long time. The battery life still seems to be going strong after 2.
Cons
The app experience isn't seamless. The support from renpho lasts 3 months. If you don't recharge within 3 days of it going to low battery, it simply breaks down. Is this what we now expect from our “smart’ appliances, to last only a few months?
No bia measure. Problem is the metrics - body fat, bmi, water, it offers a ton of charts but they’re all the same. It's a glorified weight scale.
The missing software functionality is very limiting. It's not worth it to buy something that only lasts 1 year. Do not waste money on this knock off.
