With the addition of a couple pieces of moon gel the drum cracks now and sounds fantastic. My goto head for those jazz gigs where to crank 'em up a little tighter than normal.
Bought for my 25 yo son. The drum head is good. It's a classic head.

The box was bent and appeared to be smashed but somehow the drum head seems to be okay

As i was midway putting them on my toms i gave them a little hit with the stick and immediately notice how much more deep and warm they sounded compared to clear heads
