The book picks up a year after the last book left off. Caire has dropped out of unc and is living in wrightsville beach, north carolina. She is in love with chris knight, an ex-boyfriend of claire's. Chris is off on tour and making it big!

The two other parts of this trilogy are already out and i cannot wait to read them. Your heart will explode in ways that you never thought possible.

We see the struggles that people go through in regards to the choics they make and the sacrifices that entails. It makes you cringe with them, hurt with them and love with them. Just the right amount of flaws.
