Also its not easy to put sides up and down when my son is in the bed so i have to crawl around the rail to read him a story at bedtime

It works ok but the slides are quite thick so i am not sure if an adult using the bed with side hidden would notice a lump or not

No indication that clips might break as mentioned in other reviews of similar products

When we installed it we were shocked that only about 5 inches of rail protected our daughter which isnt what is depicted in the picture
