Pros

The damascus blade has a stunning pattern and was etched perfectly. The hilt is well-balanced and has a nice thick and solid feel. It is heavy and sturdy enough to cut most small limbs for kindling for a camp fire.

Great craftsmanship on both the knife and scabbard. Only complaint is that one of the * on the sheath broke.

The knife is straight as an arrow, no cracks, sharp, and was correct hardness. The imperfections are part of the handmade product. This is well made - hand made solid sharp knife.

Cons

The damascus steel is just a garbage finish. I'm a chef, i have real damascus steel, and this isn't it.

The knife sheath is the number 1 cheapest sheath i have ever seen. The leather sheath isn't too bad, but they skimped by inserting a foam spacer in between the top and bottom halves. Sheath is decent but not good.

It looks very nice on the mantle of myfireplace under my great grandpas double barrel shotgun

Im not sure if it was from the oil that was on the blade but the bag that it came in was coated in spores
