Pros
We're really happy we have made the purchase of this equipment as it will make our future travel a lot easier. Very happy with this purchase after one road trip. Now 1. Anther brand will be with me for many years to come.
Bought this to expand the cargo capacity of my tahoe. The tray is big enough to haul firewood, luggage, sport tents and chairs. My toyota venza has 32 cubic feet of space and this gave an additional 20 cubic feet.
The hitch rides high enough to avoid exhaust and contact with the ground on sharp inclines. We have an suv and this was perfect to attach to our trailer hitch for our luggage and coolers.
Keep the loads light to prevent bending or scraping. Only thing to note on weight is the distance to the road may scrape up and down driveways, or speed bumps minor. Other bolts to 25 ft/lbs.
Cons
It's really inconvenient to have to remove when at my destination and find some place to stow it that is secure. The finish is horrible for something that is designed to be put on and off a vehicle onto rough surfaces.

Out of the box it seemed as it was done in a sloppy way

I assembled the hauler easily but my husband did need to use a ratchet to tighten it properly and he put it in the hitch

There were spots that were not completely covered and also had some debris in the coating or a few sharpmetal spurs that we not removed prior to coating
