I wanted to be able to achieve a narrow stream of water from the heater so when i bought the heater i assumed that the vortex device would easily detach

I discovered that the lower section of the plastic vortex device unscrews leaving the top part on the pipe

The top part of the vortex device is not easily removed put can be pushed back further up the pipe out of the way which will allow tubing or other device to be attached so long as the flow isnt reduced too much
