The smell is a masculine smell that's not too musky. It has a very light scent that doesn't overpower. No odor and no residue on clothes or pillowcase.

This is a good product for those who need more hold but don't want the look and stickiness of a gel or too much volume as from a mousse. Once it dries, the hold is great. The hold lasts all day without issue.

Very easy to use and lasts all frikkin day. It also washes out easy. Molds a great messy look, or a slick clean coif.

Similar to l’oreal clay 5, and tigi bedhead workable wax. Can be used on damp or dry hair, both without greasy effect. You can go a few days without washing hair and just put a bit more product in to refresh the style.

The product dries in a manner that feels really chalky and grainy. The jb has a very 'furniture wax' consistency to it. Does nothing for hold. Very hard paste.
