My only complaint is that the lines don't come with welded loops. Reel is total acceptable although i do wish the spool was aluminum. It's really a composite, and rio line on the reel needs replacing with good quality line, i recommend orvis clearwate... Read More

Great shop, great rod, excellence on staying on top of my order. I sincerely plan on ordering directly from their store as much as i can.

It works fine for me but leaves a little bit to be desired. The reel seems decent, but i have not used it extensively. The rod is great too btw.

It always works really well and with a little bit of practice i put out some decently accurate casts. The rod has a decent amount of flex and allows for good casts. Combo is lightweight and is easy on my arthritic arms.

Great drag system, easy to assemble 4 piece rod. It loads very well and the tip tracks nicely.

The reel is polymer not metal so that obviously reduces the price

Good value beginners rod which was easy to set up and caught fish right out of the box
