    Tip i initially didn’t remove the ruler sticky strip as i wanted to be able to “open and close” the shade so i initially attached the command strip right to the ruler but 5 minutes later the sticky strip on the ruler separated from the shade it isn’t supposed to do that

    So i took the ruler off completely to where it was bare fabric got my hot glue gun and hot glued the shade to the velcro command strip

    So if you’re seeing this i would just skip ahead and safe yourself the time and just take the ruler off to start with
