Pros
The pull tab in the back is a huge help and is strong. Immediate comfort and support.
Red back has me as a customer for life! Have consistently lasted about 3 times longer than other brands. I treat mine with obenauf's pretty regularly to keep them looking fresh. Been wearing this same brand/model for over a decade now.
They support my ankle, which was my main worry with the stretchy sides. They stay as comfortable as a fluffy cloud stuffed in a shoe to snuggle with my bunnions and toes. The option to slip then on/off is really nice, yet they stay snug on your feet.
Cons
Side elastic is fraying on one boot. Left is secure while the right is floppy and loose.

I actually find this kinda reassuring because if you’re familiar with blundstones and other laceless boots you know that over time the top elastic stretches out and you lose that support they once had

Go ahead and buy the leather insole i am a heavy equipment mechanic and these last about 5 years of hard use before they need replacing
