Pros

The only thing that perplexes me about the boot design is the lip on the top of the boot. This is a purely stylistic boot that'll last you if you do the upkeep. They will be unmatched in comfort and reliability.

Briar oil slick is probably my second favorite leather after amber harness. The leather is thick and strong and looks great. Imo a little better fit.

As far as sizing and break-in goes, i recommend you have your foot measured or do some research online regarding measuring them yourself. I recommend going with your measured size initially, then sizing up or down as needed to get the right fit rather... Read More

Been wearing daily now for 6months. Alls i can say is wow, they have completely molded to become an extension of my feet. There are no moc toe boots that look better than these on the market. My favorite shoe.

These are amazingly comfortable once broken in. Some of the complaints with comfort others have experienced are due to improper fittings. After that they are amazing and seem bulletproof.

Cons

The heel pocket is huge--lots of slop. No insole. The top of the boot(around the ankle) is very uncomfortable and even mildly painful.

Nothing beats the quality of red wing

Well it’s red wings so i’m good with the quality and fit

Maybe injust got lucky with the older pair

Only reason i didnt give them 5 stars is i think the price is a little high

Price is high but should get years of use out of them if you care for them
