I didn’t measure the extra pair but they visually appear to be the exact same size

Material it is a pretty rough fabric material… much rougher than a 550 cord

Before i ordered these i read a lot of reviews and i was worried that non leather laces wouldn’t stay tied would be too stretchy would be too stiff and nonbendable making them difficult to knot like some reviews i’ve read of steel laces that they would be too rough and start to abrade away or cut the leather sacrificial tongue underneath as you hiked in the boots and the laces rubbed up against the boot or that the laces themselves would fray against the brass eyes and hooks

These are nice sturdy laces but the only caveat is that they are fairly thickshould be ok for boots but they barely shoved in the holes on my hightop leather shoes
