Pros

This red vanilla comes the closest to the rhubarb brand in design and quality. The dishes wash up beautifully in the dishwasher. Beautiful dish set from a great vendor.

Great for pasta, salad and soup. The only drawback is that the set could use another sized dish in between the small and large plate. This is personal preference, but the mugs (which are lovely) are a wee bit small for my husband and i.

Cons

The finish almost peels it turns iridescent and not smooth. The bowls get greyish/black scrape marks on them when they are used. They also stain horribly and no amount of washing will remove. There was no packaging slip with return instructions.

None broken in shipment and the quality of pieces is exceptional exceeding my expectation

One cup came with the handle broken off so not pleased about that

Be aware that pure vanilla dinnerware is everday use quality bone china not high end very expensive bone china

Price

I do not however think the recent doubling in price is warranted

The price was okay but not the least expensive i found
