I'm not sure what i was expecting, but it did not disappoint. It was so eloquent and moving. I'm very sad it's over. Very worthwhile read.

All of the other characters are just checked off of a common archetype list, and get none of their own development. It's a messy mash-up of too many things we are familiar with already.

I felt a bit baited by what i assumed the leftist political lean of this book would be. Do yourself a favor and read something by joe haldeman instead. The book reeks of the subreddit i'm14andthisisdeep.

It's time for this sloppiness to end. What a shame. Couldn't finish it. Skip this one.

At the end of the book, it seems like darrow clocked out early and went home for the day.
