I wasnt too impressed with the heat shrink

As always amazon had the best price and product for me im very satisfied with the pump so far only time will tell about the life if it

Trust me there isnt a better deal out there for the quality or the price

I wanted a pump with the franklin motor

They did refund my shipping but being without water for that period was a little challenging

As a side note amazon failed miserably on the next day shipping

Shipping was fast which was a big big as i had no water while i waited for the replacement

Competitiveness

I have 1800 feet to travel slight decline fed of a shallow 30ft well

So far works just as good as the one its replacing at half the cost

My pump i replaced with this one had a franklin motorand lasted 20yrs

This pump seems to be doing much better even though lower specd
