Bought feb 16th, 2021, ran great did a great job. If you have a good well this thing kicks *!

Cons

If you ask me this pump is an overpriced piece of garbage. Not worth the hassle. Go buy a decent and reputable pump and pay more for it.

Worked great for 3 months and locked up. Casing cracked after only 3 months of light use. Their tech support wants me to rebuild the pump one part at a time instead of replacing the pump and then rebuilding the return.

Very happy with the purchase so far

Replaced a 12 hp shallow well jet pump with the 1hp red lion this things pumps a lot of water fast

Price point was on par with others and i fully believe the quality is better

With the freeze i had to replace everything in my water shed

This is a great purchase and price super shipping too

I will say that i received my pump with a broken part probably due to the box being dropped during shipping

Packaging/appearance

It would not prime because i found that it was sucking air from in the well

Competitiveness

I will say that for a 1hp this has a lot of kick more than i expected

I attached a 32g water worker but that did had the same problem once full

I replaced my noisy 16 year old pump and tank with this 1hp pump and an a o smith 36 gallon tank
