Being the only example ive ever come across of the genre ive tentatively filed away under boozeemup i went into red dragon inn not knowing what to expect and given that theres a shamefully capacious hole in my nerdular makeup where board games and rpgs should be more than a little concerned id wind up hopelessly out of my depth surrounded by more paperwork than youd find in a ken dodd tax return and hundreds of brightlycoloured dice that resemble pieces of toblerone left lying around near a nuclear blast

But what came out of the box was a mercifully straightforward lavishlydesigned and above all entertaining game that offers you the most fun you can have drinking without actually opening yourself up to awkward situations involving bodily fluids and other peoples airing cupboards dont ask

You get a a pressout sheet of nifty cardboard gold pieces and four really quite detailed player mats which have three spaces for cards at the top and a circle of numbers from 0 to 20 at the bottom

Light ale moves your alcohol marker one space dragon breath ale which if the picture on the card is anything to go by is on fire moves your marker four spaces closer to genial fuzzy oblivion
