Pros

It is pretty flexible and it can press well on the wall to spread the joint compound pretty evenly and flat. Not a flimsy tool at all. The chisel only flexes a little and is very sturdy and has a very comfortable grip!

The brush cleaner comb really helps you get into the nooks and crannies of the brush.

This works great for my purposes. Highly recommended for the amateur. Much easier to use than the cheap disposable plastic ones.

The only negative is that the manufacturers sticky label which is on the blade is super tough to peel off. The only blade that i use often which keeps shiny steel spotless surface is from marshalltown. The chisel edge blade works perfectly to get unde...  Read More



Cons

The handle is junk - flimsy plastic that isn't even fully connected one one side. Not suitable for setting nails. Blade edge is rough and needs grinding before using. The end of the blade wasnt finished and left streaks down my drywall mud.

After 5 minutes of running water and scraping the roller and rinsing and scraping some more my roller still wasnt totally clean


So far the tool hasnt rusted despite being used for perhaps a half dozen painting jobs and brush cleanups

Overall this is a very useful tool to have around when youre painting and its not expensive so 5 stars from me


A total steal at under 7 bucks


Don’t buy plastic taping knifes they break spend 2 dollars more and get this one
