My bathroom sink and tub did not have their own vent pipe and the toilet when flushed would suck water out of the trap on both the sink and tub

If the toilet was flushed enough times you would even start the hear the water gurgling in the traps

The only vent pipe on the toilet is a galvanized metal pipe and no the easiest thing to tie into

I got this and put it after the trap on the sink and tub pipe but before the toilet line connects up
