Pros & Cons
Pros
J trap is a must for your air conditioner to prevent condensation problems. Replaced a hard to clean and troublesome condensate pump running through an attic with this trap and a gravity line.
This is meant for 3/4 inch pvc which is used for hvac drain lines. The clear tubing makes it possible to see when your condensate line needs cleaning (better to do it sooner rather than later and risk a severe clog) use these in my hvac business.
Cons
Product requires assembly- complicated if your are not at least a handyman. It drips constantly, even with all red caps closed. Blow it out, starts leaking again within one minute. Red caps leak very badly.

Remove the second red cap on top after the trap and replace with a short 34 pvc pipe vent sticking straight up for water flow
