The range on the mic is great and also the wire is long so i never had a problem where i had to move closer to the screen

The cord is very long you can use it at once with ios but if youre going to use it with an android phone youd need to download app to do so something free like promovie or open camera

The mic itself has a wind noise reducer and is long enough to attach to a recording device or phone and arms length distance away

The cable for the micro was long enough to be a distance away from my phone convenient of clip on mic came with charging device
