Much cheaper (over time) than the price for the primary cells.

The the prices for them doubled, and even more.

Competitiveness

These have worked well compared to other rechargables i've tried.

I tested against duracell and another brand rechargeable that only ran for 1 - 3 hours with the same use.

I’ve bought another brand, tenevolts, which died after 3 years.

Seems to provide slightly better run time when compared to other brands available currently on amazon.
