The only downside is that on the rare case that i need to move them from the vehicle if you grab them from the top of the seat they extend all the way to the top so you have to grab it from the bottom

The headrest adjusts up and down to meet your childs needs and the proper position is when the middle of the wings on the headrest are even with the ears on your childs head
